Mike Rayburn uses Taylor Guitars in most shows and recordings, and Elixir Nanoweb strings (.052-.011 or .053-.012). When using a pick Mike usually uses Dunlop Heavy or Extra Heavy picks.

MIKE’S MICS...(HA)

On stage Mike uses 2 Lectrosonics UCM 100 wireless units, one for guitar and one for his vocal mic. Mike’s skin-tone headset vocal mic is Countryman E6.

MIKE’S AMP...

When playing electric guitar Mike uses a 1965 black-face Fender Tremolux head and whatever speakers he can find. Effects...
Mike does not currently use any effects on his acoustic guitar in live performances. For some shows he uses a Presonus tube pre-amp.
In the past he has sparingly used the reverbs from a Yamaha SPX-90, a Roland SRV-2000, and a Korg A-2 Signal Processor.
